Vanderbilt falters against Kentucky, 58-56
The No. 15 Vanderbilt Commodores couldn’t overcome a poor shooting night in a 58-56 loss to the No. 2 Kentucky Wildcats.
This is one of those games that Vanderbilt won’t forget for a long time because they had Kentucky right where they wanted them.
Both teams were locked into quite a defensive struggle thanks to some poor shooting all around.
Vanderbilt had a lead with just a few minutes to play in the game, but they were unable to hold onto it.
They also had a chance at the winning basket, but elected to try and launch another three-pointer instead of driving to the basket.
